DESCRIPTION:On Sunday, May 24, take a tour through Oshawa’s largest cemetery, Union Cem
 etery where we explore the First World War and Second World War sections, s
 haring stories of local citizens who were active in the war efforts. Parkwo
 od volunteers will be on-hand, carefully cleaning gravestones and sharing s
 tories of those laid to rest here. The tour begins at 2 PM at the front gat
 es of Union Cemetery. Cost: $5/person or free for members of the Oshawa His
 torical Society, Parkwood National Historic Site, and members of the Royal 
 Canadian Legion. Offered in partnership with the City of Oshawa, Parkwood N
 ational Historic Site, and Branch 43 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Tour run
 s rain or shine! Content warning: This tour includes sensitive subject matt
 er, including suicide, which may be upsetting for some guests.Please note: 
 Parking at Union Cemetery is very limited - please plan for alternative par
