DESCRIPTION:For the past 10 years Sick Rides 4 Sick Kids (SR4SK) has made it their miss
 ion to host a charity car show annually in support of various childrens cha
 rities.  Over the years SR4SK has branched off into other charities such as
  Canadian Mental Health Association Oshawa, Autism Ontario Durham and fundr
 aising for a local family. As well, the evolution of SR4SK involved adding 
 new events and fundraisers to their arsenal. From Christmas Food & Toy 
 Drives in support of Durham Regional Police to adding pet food & supply
  drives as well as traditional food drives to our car shows (supporting org
 anizations such as; Humane Society of Durham Region, Seventh Day Adventist 
 Church and St. Vincents Kitchen downtown Oshawa). Our last event was held i
 n 2019 and was in support of Autism Ontario Durham where we successfully ra
 ised $6,500. As well for the same event, we donated over $2,000 in pet food
  and supplies to Humane Society of Durham Region and food to St. Vincents K
 itchen Oshawa. In 2022, SR4SK celebrates its 10 year anniversary of its est
 ablishment by hosting an event at Canlan Sports Oshawa (1401 Phillip Murray
  Avenue) on August 6th, 2022 beginning at 8am.Our event will include a "sho
 w and shine" of many cars, trucks, SUV's, bikes, muscle cars and classics t
 hat have been modified, restored or completely custom. We will also be havi
 ng a variety of raffles, a 50/50 draw, live games and over 60 awards. Wild 
 Wing Restaurant and Lounge will be our exclusive food provider and we will 
 have our title sponsor Weruva International on site giving away samples of 
 their amazing pet foods (even offering taste tests). We will have a live DJ
  to provide music throughout as well as a live performance by a Toronto art
 ist. Our awards will vary from classed awards (i.e. Honda 1st to 3rd), spec
 ialty awards (i.e. Sickest Paint, Sickest Wheel & Tire) and our more el
 ite awards (Ray Velji Dedication Award, Kids Choice and Domenic Degiorgio B
 ravery Award [To be awarded to Steven Spice, a young boy battling Chiari an
 d being the definition of Bravery]. Our event is family and children friend
 ly and 100% of proceeds will be donated to Autism Ontario Durham. We will a
 lso be accepting donations for the Pet food and supply drive in support of 
 Humane Society of Durham Region.  Through our car show events, we bring an 
 entire community together to raise money for a very worthy charity.
