There has been a rise in elder abuse and fraud incidents in Durham Region, and it is important to spread more awareness to minimize victimization in older adults. This workshop, presented by Victim Services of Durham Region, aims to bring awareness to elder abuse along with preventative measures that can be taken to protect older adults from frauds such as scam calls.

Participants will be asked to complete pre and post presentation surveys in order to provide us with a better understanding of everyone’s existing knowledge on the topics and rate your experience with the workshop.
